Discipleship is ZCC’s conerstone. ZCC has been called to disciple making. Messianic Life Discipleship is a Christ-centered disciple-making ministry.
Our Foundation
ZyonCity Convention – ZCC – is founded on Hebrews 12:22-24. “You have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering. You have come to the Assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge over all things.
You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect. You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel “(NLT).
ZyonCity is Certified
The Holy Spirit revealed the name “Zion City” to the three Ministers of God – Rev Cecilia Mahama, Rev Olha Stakhiv and Rev Kassim Perez – in 2019. And the LORD certified the name on January 24, 2020. This is what the LORD said: “My children I am happy that you listen to
me and you hearken to my word. Anything I tell you, hearken to it. That should be the name. It is not you who gave it. Zion city I live. I live on Mount Zion. I live in Zion city my children. That should be, that should be (the name of the ministry). Yes, my children. The name is registered in heaven.”.
Living the Crucified Life
ZCC brings Believer into Living the Crucified Life – a life wholly given over to the Lord in absolute humility and obedience: a sacrifice of pleasing the Lord (Galatians 2:20). The crucified life is a life unconditionally committed to following after Jesus Christ: to be more li ke Him; to think like Him; to talk like Him; to act like Him; to love like Him. Indeed, to imitate Him. For our sake He was crucified.
He assumed the guilt of our sins, suffered the judgment we deserved, in order to free us from all iniquities and to restore us to God as though we had never sinned. All He wants in return for dying for our sins is to keep His commandments, to do His Will – not our will; and to follow His Way – not our way. We are bound to regard His Will as our law, and His Life as our model. That is the essence of ZCC.
Living in Community with Other Believers - Ready to give, willing to share.
ZCC dearly upholds living in community with other Believers and having fervent love for one another; for love covers all sins. All who believe ought to be together and have all things in common (Acts 2:44); ready to give and willing to share (1Timothy 6:17-19). As Believers, we ought to be hospitable and generous to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, let them minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
If you have the gift of speaking, speak as though God Himself were speaking through you. If you have the gift of helping others, do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to Him forever and ever! Amen (1 Peter 4:8-11).Carrying each other’s burden is the way to fulfill the law of Christ(Galatians 6:2).
Our Mission
ZCC’s mission is to harvest souls and teach Believers to imitate Jesus Christ, walk with Him, grow in Him and serve Him through reaching, winning, teaching and caring for God’s flock.
